Red Riding Hood is one of my favourite tales. I think that is purely because of my obsession with the colour red, although I refrained from using it in this work. (Such irony... I can't use red for RED riding hood)
I used Photoshop to do this from zero/scratch/nil/zilch you name it.
I think the real story behind it is just me being let loose on a city to find her grandmother... she doesn't know that the city's ruthlessness will swallow her up. It will watch her like a hawk... a shadow attached to her back... sometimes surpassing her to lead the way. I think the grandma is a metaphor for herself. SO really she is just trying to find herself in a foreign place.
